Some holiday gift card holders...

Hello and Happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I wanted to stop by and share some gift card holders I made today. These were made using a template from PTI and Lauren Meader, and they can be found here. These templates cost $5 but they are so versatile and SUPER easy! I used all PTI products for these as well. (No really, I am not an addict. *wink*) Thanks for stopping by!

Another button holiday card...

Hi Everyone, and Happy Tuesday! Thought I would drop by quick and post another card I made using the Holiday Button Bits set from PTI. I just love this little gingerbread man! Unfortunately I really stink at cutting out images. Oh well, he is still cute! As usual, supplies are listed below. I will probably not post again until after Thanksgiving, so let me take this opportunity to wish you all a safe, happy and healthy Thanksgiving holiday! Typically I am a Black Friday shopper, but I think I will be sitting this one out. I am almost sad about it, but then again I haven't seen all the sales yet. I always say I am not going out and then cave after I see the ads! Any other crazy Black Friday shoppers out there? I would love to hear all about your adventures! See you next time! Gobble Gobble!

Using up some buttons...

Hi there and Happy Sunday! I must apologize for my absence the past week or so--I have been having a completely stressful time at my job and haven't had a lot of time to do any papercrafting. I am back now, and ready for some fun. Today I decided to stop by Karen Giron's blog for some sketch inspiration. I am quite a fan of her Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenges and the card above is for the SSSC45. Yesterday my husband went by my craft area and saw all these containers of fabulous buttons from PTI. He said "Geez, you must go through a lot of buttons"--well, I haven't used buttons for a while and felt really embarrassed because I don't feel I have NEARLY ENOUGH buttons and said "Sure honey, I go through tons of them!". (Guess I better start using more buttons, huh?) Good thing PTI came out with the Button Bits stamp sets too! I will stop by later with another card I made with that stamp set. Thanks for stopping by!

A Mojo 111 Holiday card...

Hello everyone and Happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a very Happy Halloween! My daughter is 12-years-old and I thought she was going to skip out on trick-or-treating this year, but she decided to go one last time. She actually spent the night with a group of friends, so my husband and I got a chance to relax together. Funny, I don't think I have sat out Halloween for the last 12 years! To top it all off we didn't get but 2 trick-or-treaters so I am left with this super sized bowl of candy to drool over. Instead of diving into that candy today I decided to make a card. LOL! I haven't had a chance to play the Mojo Monday challenge lately so thought I would give that a whirl. You can find the challenge here. This card has all PTI ingredients except a little ink and the felt snowflakes are from SU's last year catalog. I got some new PTI goodies with the last release so it was fun to crack open the new paper and work with a fresh new sketch challenge. As always, supplies are listed below. Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

CC241--My 1st Christmas card of the season!

Hi there and Happy Tuesday! I got a card made for the color challenge today at Splitcoaststampers, which can be found here.
The challenge was to use SU Cameo Coral, Bravo Burgundy, Very Vanilla and Always Artichoke. I loved this combo...very retro looking to me, and it just screamed Christmas colors to me. So I brought out my Christmas Riley stamps and made my first Christmas card of the season--yikes! I can't believe how fast the year is going for me. Where did the summer go?? Anyway, I decided to get a start on my Christmas items now because I have been having some horrible shoulder/nerve pain and I will be starting some new treatment for that next week. The last time I went in to the doctor for this pain I was wisked away for neck surgery and couldn't play with my crafting goods for weeks! Imagine the horror! LOL! Anyway, thanks for stopping by to check out my creations--the details for this card are below. See ya next time!
